As local as it gets. A great spot for a quick bite serving mostly from the restaurant’s farm just up the hill. The super friendly Tannersville staff is just an added plus.

FELLOW MOUNTAIN CAFE

The source of Scribner’s great joe, Fellow Mountain has the best coffee and pastries in town. The views from the front porch aren’t too bad either.

PHONECIA DINER

A local favorite for brunch lovers, Phoenicia Diner has all the comfort food classics: pancakes, skillets, and good coffee with that perfect upstate charm. Bonus for Severance fans… Welcome to Pips!

WESTKILL BREWING

Monty’s first brewery visited and our favorite spot for a local pour. Great for a reward after a long hike or for just hanging out on their large outdoor patio by the fire pit.

KATTERSKILL FALLS

Just a short 15-minute drive from Scribner’s Lodge, you’ll arrive at the stunning Kaaterskill Falls. The hike from the trailhead is about 1.4 miles round-trip, an easy hike for all levels of traveler.

VISIT WOODSTOCK

Woodstock is a cozy, artsy Catskills town with great food, cute shops, and a relaxed, creative vibe. Spend the day wandering galleries, or catching live music. We love Silvia, Good Night and Bread Alone!

HUNTER MOUNTAIN SCENIC SKYRIDE

Take the Kaatskill Flyer ski lift to the summit of Hunter Mountain where on a clear day you can see the Berkshire Mountains in Massachusetts and the Green Mountains of Vermont.

LOCAL ANTIQUES & THRIFT

Tannersville Antique & Artisan Center is a one stop shop for Catskill themed antiques and plenty more. With vintage furniture, classic prints and taxidermy fish there’s a little something for everyone.
